Follow these strict laboratory-approved installation steps to achieve a flawless 100% leak-proof molecular joint fusion.
Cut, Chamfer & Clean
Cut the uPVC pipe squarely using a professional wheel cutter. Remove all sharp internal and external burrs using a deburring tool. Wipe the pipe end and internal fitting socket thoroughly clean using a dry cloth to eliminate any grease, moisture, or soil grains.
Apply the Cement
Using the integrated applicator brush, apply a liberal, uniform layer of BPI Solvent Cement onto the exterior surface of the pipe end. Apply a thin, even coat inside the fitting socket to completely prevent internal pool gathering.
Insert & Twist
While the chemical cement coat is still aggressively wet, immediately insert the pipe into the fitting socket until it bottoms out. Give it a swift quarter turn (90° twist) during compression to enforce uniform fluid distribution. Hold the assembly firmly for 30 seconds.
Wipe & Cure
Clean off any excess squeezed solvent cement bead formed around the exterior ring junction using a clean rag. Allow the newly fused permanent joint to cure undisturbed completely before initiating hydrostatic network pressure testing.
